A very tough match, in very tough conditions for us ! At half the score was 0-0, and the team was struggling to get ahead in the attack. At half time, we substituted Azeem with Shubham Majhi in attack, and after 10 min put Fejam in Attack in lieu of Kinshuk and Pushpender in lieu of Richhpal. The Goals were scored by Ricchpal off a penalty in 59th min, where Gaurav with his turns was successful in earning it. However, 3 min later, off a free kick the opponents scored. But Fejam fed Gaurav, who cleverly lobbed the ball over the GK to score the second goal. The game was even paced, and again of a free kick awarded in the 89th min, we conceded another goal, to end with a disappointing draw. Shubham Majhi‘s mother gave away the awards to 3 better players today : Garv Bisht in Defence , Sachin Ahirwar in midfield and Gaurav Bisht in attack.

Our opponents were very strong today. We were winning 2-0 at half time, with clever snatching by forwards, which gave the ball to Himanshu Uniyal to chip it in. The second half, the opponents have good energy and scored 3 goals to defeat us. Our coaches were of the opinion, that the there were 2 penalties , which we should have got : 1. Pushpendra was fouled in the box, and ref gave a free kick ! 2. In the dying minutes of the game, Gaurav‘s should was tugged by the defender, which the ref chose to overlook. The better players on the pitch today were : Garv Bisht in defence ; Himanshu Uniyal in midfield and Gaurav Bisht in Attack. Our team got a rude wake up call today !

Shimla Youngs FC Vs Ajmal FC

A very competitive game where Kulbhushan Mandriyal‘s coached Ajmal FC made us sweat a lot. Our team was in good form, and in the 10th min Fejam Scored off a neat pass from Gaurav Bisht. However, with Sachin being substituted due to cramps, the team was not able to dominate after that, and the Ajmal FC striker, scored via a nice turn and Shot. After break, Praveen Yadav fed the wing well, and Kinshuk‘s mazy run was fouled by the Ajmal FC GK, and Gaurav Bisht scored off the resulting penalty. After 5 min of that, Gaurav again did well to score another. After that, the team defended well and Atul Pharswan saved a nice penalty. The better players on the pitch were Mohit Kumar, Praveen Yadav and Gaurav Bisht.
